titanfall campain option missing

I may just be an idiot but I can't find the menu to play the campaign other than the matchmaking one where you play random missions. This is really annoying because I never finished the IMC side.

There is no guarantee that you can play the campaign missions from the start. You have to choose a specific mission from the mission menu, the matchmaking system will try to match you with a group for this or a mission before but it might be that you land in a match with a different mission and not on the side of the IMC faction.
