in titanfall 2 how do you party with friends?

playing the titanfall 2 pre-alpha and can't play with friends. Anyone know how to invite someone?

@chaos842003 Hey, the feature was broken at the time, and unfortunately wasn't able to get fully sorted for this weekend's test. 

"We wanted to note and apologize for “Invite Friends” still being broken in this build. We needed to get the patch to certification quickly to ensure gameplay changes could make it in for this weekend, so we couldn’t get to this in time."
