Titanfall crashes seconds after launch on EA screen

I just downloaded titanfall. when i went to play the game for the first time (2 days ago) it froze on the EA screen and then crashed. I have since uninstalled and reinstalled that game (with the same result) and then repaired the game. None of these "fixes" have worked. What next?

My system:

core i7 - 3610QM CPU @2.30GHz

8GB RAM

64 - bit operating system

If you do not have any discrete, valid GPU, you cannot play.  The minimum requirements are well publicized:

    Memory: 4GB RAM
    Video card: 512MB VRAM,
      Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT
   (Ignore the tripe about Dx11)  
    50 GBs storage on the Hdd
    Internet speed: 512 KB/s down, 384 KB/s up

Equivalent (desktop) Radeons: HD 5750, HD 6750, HD 7750, R7 250

Equivalent (desktop) Geforces GTS 450, GT 640, GT 740
