Okay here's how i am able to start titanfall,
1, I have origin set to start in admin
2, I have the titanfall exe set to start in admin with compat for Win7.
3, If origin is running i close it
4, start titanfall from the Titanfall.exe
5, The titanfall.exe will then launch origin
6, i play titanfall
i hope this helps

I'm having the same issue, and I noticed something.
I use an antivirus/firewall that will tell me when something with no publisher is launched, it will ask if I want if it's permissions limited or not. Every second or third time I tried to launch Titanfall, it would tell me that ActivationUI.exe was limited and I would go in and set it to be a trusted file, but when I looked one of the times I noticed this http://icap.me/i/vRqhmvI9yf.png (don't have beta installed, uninstalled it when it ended.)
I think that the game is trying to run a file for a game that we don't even have and it will just close since it's not there.
If, and only if, this is the issue that we're having and someone knows what to do with this informaton, then I was glad to be of assistance

Since i lost whole morning trying to solve this and i succed here is the link to forum of beta that some guy had the same problem.
You need to dl direct x repair tool:
http://www.titanfall-community.com/threads/titanfall-beta-wont-start-on-my-pc.960/page-2
there is a dl link in one of the posts.
It worked for me, i hope it will for you too.
Cheers

Had it downloaded on my normal hdd with my os instead of my secondary hdd
I got a AMD GPU, and i also could play Titanfall Beta with no worries at all, so they have to have done something.
I also have a digital copy and my location is Australia
I deleted a few things on my titanfall and had to reinstall the whole bloody package again, because it couldnt repair what i deleted.

Edit: Possible fix- I un/reinstalled my graphics drivers and AMD Catalyst Control Panel. This may work for you if you have an AMD card with this issue.
I'm having this same issue: Game syncs, but never loads when I hit play or launch from .exe
I have tried reinstalling, disabling sync, updating drivers, setting Origin and TF to launch as Admin, disabling the firewall entirely, and the above mentioned directx fix.
I see the ActivationUI.exe in my processes, but it goes away after a moment and the game never launches.
This is getting really annoying, I hope there is a fix soon.
