I downloaded the titanfall preload and tried to install but I keep receiving an error - "direct X setup error: The Cabinet (.cab) file is not signed"
I tried several times - rebooted my pc and tried a few more times - the installation process stops at 20% each time with the same error message.
I went to my Windows folder and checked out the log folder and found the following text file with regard to the exact file that is not allowing the installation to complete. I copied and will paste this file here hoping someone can tell me how to correct.... Is there some way to delete the download and start from scratch ??
DXerror.log is as follows:
--------------------

Try repairing the preload using the built in Origin repair feature.

The repair function didn't work for me, but this did the trick. Worked like a charm. Thank you!

Working now... repair all on its own did nothing - uninstall and fresh reinstall did nothing - cutting out the .cab files works like a charm.

OMG not this again thought with BF4 they would fix this
I have copied and changed the original to old and the BF4 one works as well
This is a Basic Direct x install but needs to run through
Unless this is EA's attempt at stoping us from playing the game if so its a easy fix
But if not EA get this sorted
