Titanfall 2 / Battlefield 1 Cross-Platform Red Baron Unlock

If I buy Battlefield 1 on Xbox One and then get Titanfall 2 on Playstation 4, will I still be able to unlock the Red Baron skin in Titanfall 2? I'm wondering if they would both need to be on the same platform for that to happen. Both my Xbox and Playstation accounts are tied to the same EA account.

Not sure if that guy is getting back to us one this, so I'll share what I found. After playing BF1 on Xbox, I got TF2 on PS4 and did not see the Red Baron skin. I put in a copy of BF1 on PS4, signed in, then switched back to Titanfall, and it was there. It was a skin option for just the first titan (Ion?). So it would appear the games need to be same platform.

That... is an excellent question. At this time I don't know, but for this sort of thing you usually need to play on the same platform. 

I'll try to get a confirmation either way though, i'll update the thread with any info I can get.

Same issue here, however, I got BF1 for PC and Titanfall 2 for PS4. I hope this will be solved.

Well that's some timing. I was finally able to confirm this. Rockhouse84's post is accurate. You need to play on the same platform in order to unlock the Red Baron skin for Ion.

Sorry that I wasn't able to get an answer on this sooner.

Hey, TF-RaidenX78. If you're on a console perhaps you can borrow a friend's disc copy, and play a few rounds. 

If you're on PC or you don't have access to a disc i think you're out of luck, sorry.

Wait did you put he bf1 xbox copy into the ps4?
