Titanfall 1 damage screen replaced with map?

ON PC!
Normally in Titanfall 1 when you take damage from arc mines etc you get a blurry vision screen (but can still kinda see your surroundings) until the affects of the damage pass. However, after the latest auto update from EA for the EA login portal that happens from time to time... the damage screen now displays a map of some type (or what appears to be a map for lack of a better definition). And your surroundings are completely blocked out by this "map"...appears to have NOTHING to do with the affects of the damage and kills your sense of surroundings. Really detracts from the game play. Anyone know what's up w that?
Additionally, since the latest update, on the pre launch screen where you would normally get the pre mission animation, there is now a blacked out section at the bottom about an inch wide all the way across and/or the animation itself is blacked out.

@lefty21870 Hi, do you have an image of this happening? To hazard a guess, it sounds like the game is referencing an incorrect file when displaying the situations you describe.
Can you try a repair, in case that helps? Right-click the game panel in Origin to get this option, then please check again?
