Regen Requirements don't update at the end of a game, help.

I've just hit Gen 5 and started working my way towards Gen 6. So I started with the smart pistol, the regen requirement being "Too Gun". After I completed my first game I noticed the progress towards the regen hadn't changed, so I investigated the challenge progress on the anti personal challenge for the smart pistol and that very same challenge had updated to reflect my kills, why hasn't that registered with the regen challenge!? Any hell would be greatly appreciated.
