I think I may have found a fix, played 3-4 games in a row without crashing I rolled back to the drivers from Feb.

Version I installed: 334.89

so the 334.89 seems to be a mobile version...

but I gave the same generation desktop driver a chance and It really worked out for the last 6 hours....

I´ll report back tomorrow if It comes back CTD

lol seemed to work nice yesterday and today also 5 hours no ctd....

but now again it started ctd cause crashing nvidiadriver

what the **bleep** is this problem? can play 2 days nicely and **bleep**s around again lolz

edit:

so it completely corrupted my drivers that I had to reinstall them again...

so this older drivers solution works like for 24h ... so it doesnt work I´d say^^

do AMDcards also have those problems or is it Nvidia related maybe?

cz then I´d say let´s spam nvidia-forums for new drivers!

edit:

and again not a single **bleep** round possible to play... ctd **bleep** it!

...again... clean installed drivers worked out fine for some hours... then some message in skype came and the **bleep** begins again....

ctd no match possible...

I've had the game since it came out.

4 month old PC, 4770k,16GB 2100 Ram, gigabyte sniper mobo,1000W PSU, GTX 760Ti, all SSD's - Really good temps on CPU and GPU.

Any other game will work for hours fine , though titanfall keeps crashing.

I have formatted my SSD's, re-installed Windows 8-upgrade it to 8.1, install the game = it fails, so I don't use the Titanfall DVD's I bought because they don't work and then I download the game = it crashes. I repair the game VIA Origin = The repair fails with the audio bug.

I reboot the PC, repair again and after a few times it works.

Though the game still crashes. I work 10ish hours a day and with 2 or so hours of gaming when I get home it crashes 4+ times.

So I re-formatted everything again, installed everything again (I don't have unlimited downloads with my ISP) and it crashes - even after rapairs.

Rolled Back drivers, Turned UAC off, Ran CCleaner, Uninstalled Sound card and GPU drivers and re-install again. Roll back Graphics drivers again = everyting EA asks me.

No idea what to do now.

The linked admin post on the first page is correct - the materialsystem_dx11.dll crash is definitely VRAM related, and turning features down helps immensely. It's not a fix, but a workaround.

I did some testing because I've been seeing this issue on my new rebuilt RIG, but hadn't on the 1-2 plays on my old one.

First off, my build:

Intel i7-3770k

MSI Geforce 670 w/ 2GB VRAM on 335.23 driver

16GB RAM

OS is on a 250GB SSD, Game is on a 2TB HD with 120GB Intel SRT Cache

Windows 8.1

Using MSI Afterburner on my 2nd screen, I can clearly see FB usage (Framebuffer memory usage), spiking up and down, but steadily creep higher when I'm running at 2560x1440, High Textures, High for all other settings, 2xMSAA, vSync Off, 8x Anisotropic filtering. At these settings, I will crash within 2-4 minutes, and framebuffer is full.

If I drop to 1920x1080, Medium textures, 4xAnisotropic filtering, and a couple of other bumps down, frambuffer doesn't seem to break 80%, and I can get through a couple of matches.

Hoewever - and this is key - longer matches are still risky. Framebuffer use still steadily creeps up, implying a memory leak of some sort. Might be within Titanfall, might be driver-related, who knows.

Since the video card WILL try to use system memory to help augment itself, and since Titanfall is definitely a memory hog, you are also probably better off not having other apps open while Titanfall is running. This will not directly affect the Framebuffer issue; however, given that system memory bandwidth is at a premium, reducing contention may improve framerates a bit.

By far, the biggest gains will be graphics-memory-related settings. What this means is that texture resolution is critical, but anything that increases FB usage in general: For example, shadows tend to be more GPU-bound, while Impact Marks may be more helpful (especially if they use procedurally generated textures for things like bullet marks).

The only other thing I would recommend is proactively resetting Titanfall every few matches. While between matches the 3D engine is spun down (and the framebuffer drops to near-zero), there's no non-Respawn-dev way to tell if any resources are being held onto in some way.

Nevermind. Worse after patch. I crash within 30 seconds in game now.

Still no way to fix this? Even a workaround would be nice. Nothing works for me except using an out dated driver, but that really messes up my computer, even skype gives error when I do that!

your outdatet driver... how long does it last to work for u? infinitely? wich driver version is it? cuz only way for me to play for 2-6 hours is any other driver... even if i clean deinstall the last driver and go back to the newest... it lasts maximum 6 hours until it corrups the driver again..... and everyround ctd is back^^

would be nice to know if there is any driver wich doesnt **bleep** up after a while, cuz my peronal experience is that all drivers give up after some time^^
