Over the past couple of days I have tried logging onto the Australian Data Center with connectivity ~50ms. Unfortunately I have had no success in connecting at this latency in game. Titanfall seems to sit on "waiting for players" for most times, 5 to 10mins at a time. Almost every game I have "eventually" connect to, the latency is more than an average of 400ms and in some cases I have been kicked from the server for low connectivity or inactivity. I have tried playing on other Data Centers, eg. South East Asia and the gaming experience I have had has been extremely poor and not worth playing.
Does the Australian Data Center still exist? Also, what is EA / Respawn going to do when no Australian servers are provided in the future? Will there be LAN servers functionality available?
Please provide answers as to improve the expectations of this game as I do enjoy playing (along with many friends) when the local game servers are actually running.
