[PC] Titanfall 2 doesn't detect a key in the keybinding menu

Hi,

I use the "<" key right next to LShift to sprint in any game I own since LShift is too far for my finger.

Except Titanfall 2 doesn't detect that specific key at all for some reason. I tried binding it through the config file located at "\Documents\Respawn\Titanfall2\local", but it didn't work.
Binding it in the game either leaves the binding blank or in an identical state it was before attempting to rebind. I managed to get it to work once for an unknown reason by repeatedly switching keyboard languages but it didn't stay after closing/restarting the game and I cannot replicate that anymore for some reason I have yet to find out.

I'd like to know if there is any way to fix that issue.

Attached is a picture of my keyboard with the key highlighted. The keyboard is using the french layout (AZERTY).

PS: I have an alternative method that could fix this issue but it uses the program "AutoHotKey" and I'm not sure if the game will ban me for using it or not, so I haven't tried it yet in the game.
