The game won´t download

Why can´t I I download the sims Medieval from this site? A few years ago I bought a physical copy of the game but since then I´ve switched computers and my new computer does not take CDs so I was going to download the game from here (since I still have the code that should work) but no! when I click the download button nothing happens! Why is this and how do I fix it?

@UgglanfranWabuu Just to clarify your are downloading the game from Origin after logging in with the account the game is tied to? 

If so, are you on PC or Mac?
