Sims medieval blue eyes bug

There is a bug in the sims medieval that, no matter what, gives the sims blue eyes. It doesnt matter if I change their eye colour, it goes back to the deep blue colour. Even the NPCs have blue eyes. It is really annoying and i would really appreciate if someone knew how to fix it, or if EA could release an update to fix this problem
