Sims Medieval Screen Tearing and Glitching

After changing the graphical settings, the screen glitches. After setting it to defaults and trying to change resolution, my screen goes black infinitely.

I'm happy to read you could make it work properly playing in windowed mode

As an idea to try to fix the full screen mode, have you tried to update your graphics drivers?
