So I have been having this problem where I open my Sims, it works fine, I press the play button, select the sim to play with in manage worlds, it loads, but then it just freezes. When I open an other page in front of it the part the new page covers of the Sims tab just turns black when I return. My Mac by the way tells me the Sims just stopped working and my mouse just gets that loading circle. I have tried everything I could imagine, I thought maybe it's my Mac? I've heard from others that Apple computers just don't function so well with the Sims. Although the Sims have always worked on my computer (apart from some occasional glitches), I keep coming back to that thought. Maybe someone here knows what to do?
I have:
Removed all my CC and mods
Deleted all my saves
Redownloaded the Sims
Repaired the game multiple times
Updated the game multiple times
Deleted other things on my computer that might have been the cause of lagging in general

I had a problem a bit like this. I would click onto the sims 4 game, and once the game got to the part of the leading screen where it says the sims 4 (and the plumbob usually spins around) it would just freeze and wouldn’t load! I couldn’t close the game without shutting down my PC and the rest of my PC worked fine. Can anyone help?
