sims 4 keeps crashing when i choose the family

every time i start the game everything goes ok it loades twice and than it askes me to choose the house (family) i want to play . i choose my family and while its loading the game crashes and it kicked me out of the whole game to where i have to start it all over again .. even when i do start it again the same thing happens ... tried to repair the game through origins still nothing worked i have a mac book pro version 10.10.5 what do i do ?

Do you have any mods or custom content installed in your game? This may cause issues, so please, remove them from your game and try to load it again. You will find more information about game updates and mods in this EA Help article.
