Hello, I recently downloaded The Sims 3 on my Mac. ( Yes, it is updated.) I downloaded it from Origin and it worked perfectly fine. It came along with The Late Night and Town Stuff expansion packs. I had trouble getting them to work and I thought it could have been Origin messing up. I purchased the Seasons hard copy expansion pack from Walmart. I installed it and that did not work either. Now my base game will not even launch. Any tips?

First of all, please, uninstall your Seasons pack, and instead of using your DVD to install it, redeem your code in Origin and download it using Origin. A fellow player, BluebellFlora, one of our heroes here on Answers HQ, has written a guide you can check if you need help to uninstall The Sims 3 Seasons.

 

Once you have all the packs installed through Origin, could you tell us which is the error message you are getting, or give us more details about the issue? When is the 'Sims 3 has stopped working' error message appearing?
