What to do when

★★★ Newbie

Hi!

I have a problem with my sims 4 game on my macbook pro.

When I try to open it, I get this message:

Unable to start:

Initialization error at start up.

[135dec40:90f690cf:00000075:495f32a0]

I have tried to repair it on origin, but it dosen´t work.

What should I do now?

@ellaaunaas

Please move your whole Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts out onto your desktop then try launching your game again.

Re: What to do when

EA app Team

Hi @ellaaunaas,

This error is caused by mods sometimes. If you are using mods in your game, could you remove them from the Mods folder and try to open the game again? (More info about the use of mods and updates here). Does it open now?

Good luck, and welcome to Answers HQ!
