Re: Sims 4 - Black Photography issues

★★ Novice

Hi, I solved the problem for me. I uncheck the retina display option in the settings and now I can take photos again. But this problem have never happened before the lastest update, but I hope they will fix this problem with the retina display Standard smile

Yep, unchecking Retina display option also "fixed" it for me.

@crinrict, could you please add this bug but mark it as Mac specific? Otherwise it could get lost in the Mac forum?

Guys, this is info you should POST.

If it's something like this, I need to know if you're on Mac or PC.

Anyways, is everyone here on a mac ?

BLACK PHOTOS BUG!

★★ Novice

Hi, so right after I downloaded city living I noticed that whenever my sims take photos (ive tried alll three cameras) they come out black. I've removed my cc, repaired my game and yet the bug is still there. It's so annoying since I really want to start a family but I don't want to miss out on any important moments! Any help would be amazing!

@sholaophelia

Please disable the retina setting in your game options, that should help.

@harrysaxon

Can you repair your game and see if that makes a difference? If not, please can you post what Mac you have? Instructions on how to do so here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612...

Re: "Paint from Reference" Returns Blank Canvas

★ Novice

I'm having this issue (at least since the City Living Update) and none of the previously mentioned fixes worked for me.

I'm running TS4 mod-free on a Macbook Pro Retina running OS X Mavericks 10.9.5.

Hi @onehummingbird

I'm merging this with the mac post on this. Try the solution in the workaround post.

Please tag me if this is after download the paintings from the gallery.
