The sims 4 - Not Loading

Hi, Im stuck on the loading as shown in the image. I was only playing the game the other day. I did the most recent update and I feel thats what has casued the issue. It takes long enough to actually get to the loading screen now, with the icon bouncing for ages.

Specs are:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)

2.7 GHz Intel Core i5

8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB

Thanks for giving us all the details about the issue.

When you say you updated, do you mean your OS or the game?

If you are using mods in your game, please, remove them from the Mods folder and try to open the game again. (More info about the use of mods and updates here). Still stuck in the loading screen?

Please move your Mods folder from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 out onto your desktop and try loading the game again.
