TS3 White Screen After Loading Game - Please help!

Hi there!

I really need help with my Sims 3. Ever since the week after I bought Island Paradise, TS3 has been glitched. I used the uninstaller to remove IP but it's still occurring. So, my problem is that once the map loads after I do the interactive loading screen, everything is white except the blue sims manager thing on the bottom left of my screen. Even when I go into CAS and resume game it happens. Please help me! I have a MacBook Pro 2011 running MacOS Sierra. Thanks and please help me!

Did you update to MacOS Sierra at the same time you installed Island Paradise?

Let's try something

1. Go to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3
2. Locate the options.ini file and rename it as options.ini.old
3. Open your game again

Does it look better now?
