Sims 3 trouble

I was wondering how to download a game through origin without buying it again. I have the supernatural EP on disc and I want to connect it to my origin account so that I can download it through origin. My computer won't recognise discs so the only way I can play my games is if i download them through origin. Does anyone know how I can connect my game to my origin account.
