Origin and Sims 4 wont launch on my mac

So for the past few weeks my computer has been acting very weirdly. Sims 4 wont launch. I could go on the origin website, but once i click sims, it gives me a popup about something with a file. I think the problem with the file might be causing my whole computer to act weirdly also.
