How to navigate screen while playing sims 4 on Mac

I cant figure out how to navigate around the towns/ place to see where sim is going or to find a house. Probably a dumb question but I cant figure it out, lol

Did @Bluebellflora's answer solve your question? If so, you might want to use the 'Accept as solution' button to let everyone know

Otherwise, have you tried pressing the 'M' key? If you are in Live mode, that will take you to the world view, where you can select any lot to move your Sims there.

Sims 4 doesn't have open world like Sims 3, there are loading screens when your Sim travels somewhere.
