Late night is my only expansion pack so since it doesn't work only the sims icon shows up so where should I post the folder?

For some reason whenever I add an expansion pack the game won't launch and instead appears with a message saying that an unknown error occurred. I tried reinstalling the sims 3 as well as origin but it didn't work. I also contacted the ea games people and found them to be extremely unhelpful. Is there anything I could try? I have a MacBook pro and it had previously all worked fine before m computer got a virus and I had to take it to apple to be restarted from scratch.

I only have the night life expansion pack so where should I put the copied folder?

so it was working so far but then when I opened Transgramming i don't have Program Files, help?

Unfortunately for me I get this error just trying to open just the base game itself, does anyone know anything about how to fix this?

Did you open the c_drive folder?

Is your Mac compatible with the game? If you have a machine with unsupported graphics you may need to edit the .sgr files too.
