Mac: Error with sims 3 "Unknown Error Occurred" (after installing)

however I would reform that I had to do the last step within the the final passage of your post directly into the Sims3 trangaming folder and not of the one that appears when the app open.

I'm so sorry if this has been answered already in this thread but I suffer from anxiety and trying to find the solution is too difficult for me. I've tried to look through so I picked out a few things.

I have an early 2015 13-inch MackBook Pro.

MacOS-  Sierra Version 10.12.3

Graphics - Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536mb.

Expansion packs -

Generations,

Into The Future,

Seasons,

Showtime,

Town Life Stuff,

University Life,

World Adventures.

I have only just installed everything today and I am getting the 'Unknown Error' issue. I have attempted @Bluebellflora 's help here, but it hasn't fixed the problem for me.

Is there anyway I can play the game at all?

I did this although not exactly the same but it helped me find the files and I put them where they were missing in other places and it now works ^-^

I have had an issue with Sims 3 for the past three days I have installed and uninstalled it with various drivers and then I thought it finally worked everything had downloaded and installed and "an unknown error occurred" I followed your directions and now my game is updating and loading. Thank you so much!

It worked for the Sims Late Night but I'm also getting an error message for every other expansion pack, and it won't let me use this fix for the others. Any ideas?
