Sim stuck in neighbor town after update

This was also a problem in 2013 I saw but it's 4 years later and there's still this same issue after an update:

Sim is stuck in a neighbors town and game keeps crashing when I try to get him while Iran loading to go to the neighbors town.

This is occurring right after new Sim Dance Party Update 2017.
