Can't drink herbal tea

One of my quests is to make a sim make and drink some herbal tea. But not one of my sims will do it, they refuse. What am I doing wrong?

@swhite2908 have you tried placing the tea pot on the kitchen table or rotating the pot?

I have the same question.  I’ve tried multiple tables, kitchen islands, coffee tables, and bedside tables.  The sim walks up yo it, waves their hands, and does nothing.  I’ve also tried fully rotating the kettle.
