Let's try to find out what's going wrong - could you try to connect to the cloud using a different connection? For example, using a WiFi connection if you were using your data when you got the error message.

Do you have your game connected to Facebook? If so, could you try to log out, close the app, restart your device and log in again with your Facebook account? Then try to download the data from the cloud again. Does it work now?
