Book of Spells

Unfortunately I was just barely was unable to finish the Book of Spells Quest in time to get pet dragons, will that Quest ever be available again? Or is there no way I'll ever be able to unlock pet dragons?
I was very excited, so I'm really upset I don't get to have one...
