Sims 4 digital deluxe (pre-ordered & pre-loaded) won't startup.

i don't understand why I haven't seen a solution to this yet....

i pre-ordered and pre-loaded (days ago).  When I go to play it just thinks for a few seconds then.... nothing.  No errors, no white screen, no title.... nothing!! I've tried playing using desktop icon, start menu, multiple links-to-play thru Origin... all do the same thing.

 I REALLY don't want to uninstall and re-install.... what's the point of pre-loading?

I never got the demo and this is my first purchase thru origin.

Could you post this info: 

1. Click on Start and then type the following into the search prompt at the bottom: perfmon /rel
2. Press Enter to proceed.
3. A window will open and in there you can click on the red circles with a white X.
4. After clicking the X, the info on the bottom will update. Choose the Sims 4 Critical Event one and right click on it and choose "View Technical Details"
5. Now on the next window, choose Copy to clipboard at the very bottom and post this into a reply to us here.

Sorry there are no Sims4 critical events.  its more like sims4 won't even "try" to startup.   PC just thinks for a while then stops... no crashing

When you state that there was no critical event in Reliability Center , I think that I am stuck on the same issue as you.

Could you open Task Manager and look for ActivationUI.exe & TS4.exe when you start the game to see if these processes ever run.

In my case both processes appeared but then disappear after few seconds without any visual clues other than on the Task Manager.

Actions Taken so far...

- Problem Noticed

= Check Perfmon /rel >> No critical evident about Sims4 process logged (other event seems to be properly logged)

- Update Drivers ( FW / Drivers are already up to date)

- Uninstall Sims4

- Manually Uninstalled Origin

- Change System Locale to US (was JP when installed)

- Clean Boot

- Install Origin

- Install Sims4

- Restart to Clean Boot again

= Same problem

- Compatibility Modes (XP/7/8) + Admin. Run didn't solve the problem

- Enter Safe Mode with Networking

= Same problem

The only thing I haven't tried yet is to reinstall OS but that was not what I expected to be the solution though.

EDIT : Some users on other posts has said about log files in C:\ProgramData\Origin\Log , So far it is the only source of clues on TS4 and ActivationUI processes.

help!!  it's been 5 DAYS  and I still haven't been able to run this!     i've tried everything you all suggested.  there's no errors no crashing ... just nothing.  All the info you guys need is posted above.  please look into this.  i'm not the only one with this problem.

 The only thing I can try is installing it on another rig, but that's supposed to be my GTAV pc while this is my wife's Sims4 rig!  You all see my dilemma??  

I've seen folks running win8 having the same issue but they get it fixed.  I'm running win 7 x86 and none of those solutions are working or are available to me.  in fact, i'm worried that all the **bleep** i'm doing to my PC to get this to run is causing more damage than good. 

i game on this PC with Steam and have NEVER had this problem before... the problem is definately associated with Origin, Sims4 downloaded files and compatibility....
