So, I would like to purchase a new laptop since this one is old...and not mine...
I want to be able to play The Sims 4 without any problems.
I prefer Dell, but I'm willing to try Acer, or HP.
My budget is pretty low...I can't spend more than $500 on this new laptop.
Sorry if this is annoying...I just don't understand a lot about processors, hard drives, and almost everything else about laptops.
Please help.

Yes, that last one should be fine.

It's really hard to recommend a certain machine since it differs from country to country, region to region.
Best is if you go out and look at some, make sure it has a graphics card and not just a chip and before buying come back and share the specs of it to be looked at. You will need to do the research yourself.

Okay...
Does this laptop meet the system requirements?
I know it meets the RAM and harddrive requirements, I'm just not very sure about everything else.

The graphics card in there isn't the strongest so you might not be able to play on hightest settings. Also I don't recommend i3s since they tend to have overheating issues especially in laptops. Look for a i5 or i7.

Both only have a graphics chip that is too low in specs.
You might need to go over $500 (or would that be over your budget) ?

Yes, right now I can only spend around $500, but if this one doesn't meet the requirements, I'm just going to start looking for something more expensive and save up until I can afford it.

I would wait until the recommended specs are out and save up some more money. Check then cause prices and computers vary a lot

Okay, but do you think this may work?
It's a lot more expensive than the other laptops I've looked at.
If it's not compatible, I'll just wait for the recommended specs like you've suggested.
