How to DISABLE in game tips/tutorial - ORIGIN users!!!

Do you find the tips/tutorial in The Sims 4 to be a pain now that you have figured out the basics of the game? Have you noticed there is no option to turn off the tips/tutorial either? After lots of searching on the internet, I came across a post at www.platinumsimmers.com with instructions on disabling the tips/tutorial thru Origin. Here is how:

1. Open Origin
2. Hover your mouse cursor over The Sims 4 until the small info box pops up with the last time you played the game and how long you have played. Look for the grey i button (italic I) and click it. This opens another window with more information about your game, including your product code, add ons and bonuses, and other information.
3. Next to the box art photo, select "Game Properties", it is listed under "Actions". This will open another small pop-up box.
4. Type in the Command Line Arguments box the following:  --no_tutorial
5. Click on Apply
6. Go play The Sims 4 without the annoying tips/tutorial!

This is a really old thread but save is what you want.

You can now turn off tutorials in the game itself though

Hmmm... to be clear, it is two dashes before the no and the an underscore and then the word tutorial. That should be all it takes.

--no_tutorial

This only works for Origin users. If you are still having problems, contact EA, the chat is available 24 hours a day! Good luck!

Another way to turn off the tutorial: This will work for anyone:

Navigate to your directory: C:\Users\(Name of User)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4

Open OPTIONS.ini in notepad

About 4 lines down you will see the following:

TUTORIALENABLED = 1 

change the 1 to 0 

(That is a zero - not the letter "O")

Save the file.

Play The Sims 4 without the tips/tutorial!

i did  what it says  stil giving me tips help me please

All of them or just certain ones ? I noticed some lessons for traits still appearing but that's all.

if you go to the same options as the person previous was talking about and instead go to config and scroll down to the bottom there is an addiontinal line of code for the tut and you need to change that to 0 also please let me know if it works or not

i found the option to turn off tips by disabling one by one under user setting it looks like a long list of editing files to me
