[TO ADD] Child sim can't go upstairs after ageing up from toddler

I was having the same problem with my male child. But, after I went to a mirror and choose change appearance and changed his outfits he was able to use the stairs.

I have seen this now three times. I don't think sending a save next time will help debug. For me, simply saving and exiting fixes it. Once the lot reloads they go up the stairs. So I'd assume any save I sent would also work once it loads too.

No mods, clean, new install, recent family. I just cleared cache, though there was nothing to clear except thumbnails, and repaired the game. I'll be curious to see if it pops up again on the next todder.

Do you notice any pattern for which toddlers it happens ?

Could everyone list the following

• Skill levels they had
• Traits
• Gender

I have seen it with both genders. I don't remember which traits, but with how many times I've seen it and the fact they didn't share traits, at least two different traits were involved from the subset (Wild, Independent, Clingy, Silly). The only common things:

- all have had potty maxed

- all have had all other skills between 3&5

- none have had all skills at 5

- all aged up on the ground floor in the house

- the house has a basement, a first and second floor (for a total of three), and the ground floor has a foundation

- all aged up using "Help Blow Out Candles" on a cake at a party

- none of the ones that had the problem had a specific adult select themselves as a Caregiver

- all were adopted, but some as babies and one as a toddler

- none seem to be alien

- none of them had left the lot from adoption to age up (though other members had)

- none had been sent to daycare from adoption to age up

If I see it again and notice anything else I'll try to remember to report back.

I had this problem as well and the changing appearance fixed the glitch for me.

After now having had 8 toddlers in different households, three had the issue.

Anything that causes the entire lot to reset will fix this issue. Going into CAS, Traveling or saving and reloading the game.
