[FIXED] Successful Lineage 'Have a child max a skill' doesn't trigger?

[ Edited ]
★ Novice

So I have a sim family for my legacy, on generation 2 now, and the spouse has the 'successful lineage' aspiration. His children have already maxed several skills and have done so since he got the aspiration, but it just doesn't trigger. One child has 2 child skills (creativity and social) and one adult skill (piano) maxed. Is anyone else having this issue? Does something need to trigger it?

Re: Successful lineage aspiration error in 'Have a child max a skill'

Hero

The Successful Lineage aspiration (within the Family category) will no longer fail to recognize if a child had previously completed the skill and aspiration requirements of the 3rd and 4th step.
  • Getting a child to do “work” once is tough enough, getting them to do it a second time… I’d suggest hitting up the kid exchange for a trade in.

I will cautiously mark this as fixed in Patch 1.30.103

I have the same issue, my sim has three children one is an adult the other two are teenagers. My teenager maxed her video game skill and the adult maxed her piano skill and neither trigger the aspiration. FYI I don't have any mods.

Did you start with the aspiration before the children started with the skills ?

Successful lineage aspiration error in 'Have a child max a skill'

★★★★★ Newbie

Hello, so I have a problem with my family. The mother has the Successful Lineage Aspiration, and I am stuck on Milestone 3... The one thats called "Have a Child Max any Skill". My oldest daughter got all four, and the secound daughter just finished her 3 skill, and about to start on the last one... And then I got a 3th daughter that is about to finish her very first skill... But none of the skills that I got max in, but it's like it doesn't get recognised... Nothing happened, and I'm just stuck!

Anybody that know what I can do? (I don't use CC, only cheats like bb.moveobjects, but that can't effect the gameplay, can it?)

From a danish simmer :-)
