[OPEN] Swiped Objects don't appear in household inventory

I have a sim with the pickpocket trait who used to swipe things from his neighbors' homes daily. They'd appear in his family inventory and I'd use them to furnish his house.

None of the items he swiped since the toddlers update have shown up in his family inventory. I do get the message that they were successfully swiped and the sim gets a confident moodlet.

I have no CC installed (never have).

I own all current EPs and game packs plus Vintage Glamour, Movie hangout, Romantic Garden, Cool Kitchen, Perfect patio and Luxury Party stuff packs.

I play on Windows 10.

Could you check the family inventory of the family the Sim swiped from if it there ?

If so, another old bug revivied

I went and checked. So, yes, the items showed up in the inventory of the family he robbed instead of his own...

I went back and tried it again with another house: same thing. The item was successfully swiped but appeared in the original owner's family inventory.

Yeah, confirming the bug here.

Just bought and installed the game (just vanilla, no mods or DLCs), made my very first Sim (with klepto) and stole a little lamp.

It was sent to the owner's inventory instead of mine.

I hope this is fixed soon enough, the klepto trait is actually what made me play this.

Hi! Just found this thread and I have a bit to add, I find when my klepto steals something on a residential lot it does not appear in her inventory BUT when she steals something from a community type lot (normally I'd go to a museum, for example) it does appear. 

Okay a little more to add: I switched control to a household that my sim stole a few items from and found all the items she stole in their household inventory! Odd.
