Was the baby you had born AFTER the patch ?
It doesn't fix already affected Sims.

Well, it's only report without mods in here but as it's a known issue, I've changed it to partly fixed as you said you have a girl and it was changed for boys only.
I'm going to see if more reports are coming in.
Do let me know if you have the issue with the next baby as well.
