sims3 launcher wont launch!

okay so my game has been working fine till now, i click the game yada yada but then whe i press play, it will have to blue loading thing by the mouse for about 10 secounds then it will just stop. im not a PC wiz so im just kind of not sure what todo.... please help! 

(oh and if it matters, which again im not sure, when i click the launcher i get a notice that says it cannot connect to origin?) thank you if your able to help me! mileyvery-happy:
