sims 3 pets

Hi,

i have bought the sims 3 pets expansion pack. when i go into the game to see what island i want i pick the world that comes with sims 3 pets. (forgotten what it was called.) when it loads in all i see is grey so i cant see buildings or anything, i can see the icons and when i fainally have my sims i can see the world but when i do egle view it is still grey.

i dont know what i should do please help.

what do you mean by operation systm?

the OS means operating system for example windows XP, windows 7, vista or a mac
