sims 3 cas shutdown

at first my sims 3 would shut down in the middle of the game saying "sims 3 has stopped working" so i restarted my computer and redownloaded my games to my computer now when i go to mu sim age them up with the code "testingcheatsenabled_true" and try to recreate my sim any edit opition in cas wont let me pic cloths and the tool bar is all black and at this point i cant even exit out my sim is animated but my choice wont appear.
