so I downloaded the sims 3 off of amazon, and when i logged in to origin i clicked redeem my product codes and the product code sent to me in my confirmatio email worked. after i downloaded the sims, and went to install, it tells me to enter the registration code again... yet when i do i does not fill up all spaces and therefore will not work. i just spent the money on this game and cant even use it, if EA can not fix this i want a refund NOW
does anyone know what i can do to fix this?

There are two different kinds of codes.
Serial codes and redeem codes for the extra content. If they are only 16 digits, the code you have is most likely for redeeming the extra content at thesims3.com.
Did you get another email with a 20-digit code ?
You can also find the code in Origin in myGames when you click on the i, where it says Product code.
