problem with sims 3

i have a problem since yesterday i can not start a sims family. everytime i klick on that family then load  it and then i suddenly get a message.

there has been a serious error loading gained world/city we strongly recommend to restart the application.

please help me

Hi @sireane 

Try getting around this by restoring a backup:

Let's call your save SunsetValley as an example. 

• Go to documents : electronicarts : sims3 : saves
• You'll see a file called SunsetValley.sims3 - rename (right click and choose rename) it to Sunsetvalley.123
• There's also a file called SunsetValley.sims3.backup - rename it and make it SunsetValley.sims3
•  (Optional) rename the SunsetValley.123 to SunsetValley.sims3.backup

Try again and let me know what happens
