my sims will not talk ifi tell them ro and nothing comes up

in my game when i go to play it and i click on my sim to talk to other sim nothing comes up but then they do it on there own and i have done everything from troubleshooting and re downloading my game and origin three times can anyone help me thank u

@Millienxx Do you have any cc/mods? Is your computer a pc or mac? Did the game ever work right?

yes i have got mods and custom content but i uninstalled my game for a while and did not play in but it worked with mods and cc but now when i installed it again with mods and cc its not working i have a pc
