moodlets or anything don't show up when travelling to china, egypt, and/or france

i have had all the sims 3 stuff packs and expansion packs scine they came out but now im trying to travel to china, egypt, and/or france but one i get there my sim never shows up and none of the moodlets or anything show up!!!??? ive already wasted 6 hours in game time trying to fix this myself but i cant figure it out can someone plz fix this ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
