error unable to connect to origin???? i cant update my sims

 the website said there was an update i pulled up the lancher and a message poped up saying error unable to connect to origin. i cant even sign in on the game because it needs updated. i updated the newest version of origin what can i do

i have tried uninstalling origin then reinstalling it nothing what do i do
