download content from "codes" isn't working?

So I bought the combo pack for Worlds, and received an email with codes to access in the store and download. when I click to download, I follow the instructions, the Origin launcher pops up, then nothing happens. am I missing something? My version of the game is updated and pretty new. just downloaded last month. the content I purchased from the store that didn't have codes (world adventures pack) downloaded just fine. not sure what's going on here?

log into your the sims 3 account go to my store account-purchase history see if your worlds are there and download them
