dont know how to retrieve purchased items

hi guys

my pc crashed about three months ago, with my gfriends installed sims 3 and expansions...she had purchased items from the sims 3 store where in the past as long as the items were bought she could download them anytime, however, i fixed the pc, had to replace hd...now she has reinstalled all her sims games, but upon logging in to retrieve her already bought items, she cant seem to find them, has this got to do with this converting to "origin" thing? `or are we making a stupid mistake??

Please help!

Did you already download and install the Origin client and check the myGames tab on there ?
