doesn't download in the exhange of the sims3

If I click on download to download something in the exchange off the sims 3, it can be anything. a store item, a world, a sim. but if iclick on download nothing happens. how could this happen? will it stop after a while? will it never stop? what can I do about it?

what browser are you using ? try clear the Internet cache and  switching browsers if on chrome or safari try firefox or IE
