I bought The Sims 3 a long time ago (around launch date) and I was having trouble installing it. Later I realized that I had bought the game for the wrong OS (I bought for Mac, when my computer was Vista), so I kinda just gave up on the game. Last month I bought a new high-end gaming system, so I wanted to try the TS3 in it. Can I download it for my OS (Windows 7 now) by registering the game and using my serial number?

I tried registering it on Origin and it says the serial number has already been used. I think that I registered it on the The Sims 3 website, but I can't remmember which e-mail I used to do it. Isn't there any way of finding out?
