Will the special job opportunity still be available if I move towns? TS3 UNI

In The Sims 3 University Life, If your sims gets a special job opportunity (sports agent, etc) and when they return home from university, move to a different town. Will the special job opportunity still be available in the new town? My sims live in Sunset Vally and they've finished university but I want to move them to Bridgeport but I don't want to loose the job. Can someone help me?
